Social Media and Business
OK, so this isn't going to be a long ramble about how businesses today are using social media. This is because I don't have time to write it, and that isn't really the point of this post. The point of this post is although I have long been resisting using social media, such as Facebook and LinkedIn, I have been using them none the less, and been connecting with clients.
Today's example is from one of the clients. I wanted to know how a recent presentation had gone. The client was away at a convention, but found time to post to Facebook that the presentation was darn near perfect. (Would have been nice if they had said who had done it for them, but since it was ghosted, that probably wouldn't have been a good idea.
Still, how cool is that. Old media and new media. Tracking down where people have written on your walls, and tweeted at you, leaves little time to work, so I'd better get back to it.
