Redundant Part III

Ah, another example of my job being outsourced. This time it is being outsourced to my client. Julia Hyde, who I’ve spoken about before, (check out her blog for good on-line marketing tips). She wanted to stop bugging me, so she purchased Macromedia Contribute 2.

Sometimes I’m not sure if this is a good thing or a bad thing. If I’m not getting paid to make updates, I suppose I should say this is a good thing.

The funny thing is, she can crate new pages, and edit old ones, but still needs my help to link them all together. I suppose this is a good thing, so that I still have some use. Or it may be that she just hasn’t read the manual yet. :), since I see on the site, that it says you can do that.

I don’t think this would be a good thing for all my clients though. To them, it is easier just to tell me what to do, than to do it themselves.
