Adding MP3 into websites

I am always thrilled when I find a new way to do something. In the past, when I have had to add MP3 into websites, I have done so by creating a link to the file, so it will pop-up and play. But in this case, it was a full page of them, so I decided I had to do something else.

So, I did what most people do, in a situation like this, I googled to see what others had done. The first result was the best, that put me on a discussion board. Funny thing is, the answer was given right away, but there were more solutions and more questions, none of which I needed or wanted. I mean, there were things about Flash, and stuff, which wasn’t the direction I wanted to go. I just wanted to post a podcast.

So  the code I used looks like this:

 <embed src="url/name.mp3"
autostart="false" loop="false" controller="true" id="name.mp3"
name="bg song" pluginspage=""></embed>

The only thing I had to adjust was the autostart, and I was on my way. Great. I love it whens the internet is useful.
